Entrepreneurial Stewardship of Austin
Effective Date: August 13, 2026
Last Updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website of Entrepreneurial Stewardship of Austin (“ESA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and your application to, enrollment in, and participation in our classes, events, and programs. By using our website, submitting an application, enrolling in a program, or participating in our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Please read these Terms carefully, particularly the sections regarding fees and refunds, educational disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
1. Eligibility
Our programs are designed for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to apply, enroll, or otherwise participate in our programs. By applying or enrolling, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. Applications and Enrollment
Admission to our programs is by application. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We evaluate applications based on our admissions criteria, program fit, and available capacity, and we reserve the right to accept or decline applications at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
The application process may include written application materials, a short video submission, and a conversation with a member of our faculty, ambassador group, or team.
If you are accepted, your enrollment is confirmed once you complete the required enrollment steps and pay the applicable fees. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue enrollment for anyone who provides materially false information, fails to meet program requirements, or violates these Terms or applicable program policies.
3. Fees and Payment
The application fee for the current program is $99. If you are accepted into the program, the application fee will be applied toward your tuition. If you are not accepted, the application fee will be refunded in full.
Program tuition and any applicable enrollment deadlines, discounts, or payment terms will be disclosed on our website or during the enrollment process. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.
We may update fees for future programs or cohorts. Any changes will not affect amounts already paid for a confirmed enrollment unless otherwise agreed.
Payment methods and timing will be communicated during enrollment. If a required payment is not made when due, we may suspend or cancel your enrollment.
4. Refund Policy
Application fee. If your application is not accepted, your application fee will be refunded in full. If you are accepted, the application fee will be applied toward your tuition.
Tuition. Once you are accepted and enrolled in a program, tuition is non-refundable. By enrolling and paying tuition, you acknowledge that you are reserving a limited place in the program and that tuition will not be refunded if you withdraw, fail to attend, or do not complete the program.
If ESA cancels a program before it begins or is unable to deliver the program, we will offer affected participants a place in a future session or a refund of tuition paid for the canceled program, at our discretion. This paragraph states your sole remedy for a program cancellation by ESA, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
5. Program Requirements, Changes, and Scheduling
ESA programs require active preparation and participation. Participants may be expected to complete readings, case preparation, group preparation, pre-matriculation activities, or other assigned work outside scheduled class sessions.
Pre-matriculation may begin approximately 30 days before the first scheduled class. Specific requirements, timing, and expected workload will be communicated to enrolled participants.
We aim to deliver our programs as described but reserve the right to modify program content, curriculum, instructors, schedules, formats, and locations when reasonably necessary. We will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled participants of significant changes.
Changes to individual instructors, course sequencing, program content, schedules, or similar program details do not entitle a participant to a refund except as expressly provided in Section 4 or required by applicable law.
6. Attendance and Participant Conduct
The ESA experience depends on preparation, attendance, participation, and meaningful contribution from everyone in the room. Participants are expected to arrive prepared, participate in discussions, and follow any attendance, classroom, or program policies communicated by ESA.
ESA does not guarantee make-up classes or alternative sessions for missed classes.
We are committed to maintaining a respectful, professional, and productive learning environment. Participants agree to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward faculty, staff, guests, and other participants.
We may remove or dismiss a participant whose conduct is disruptive, harassing, threatening, unsafe, dishonest, or otherwise materially inconsistent with our policies or the learning environment. A participant dismissed for such conduct will not be entitled to a refund except where required by applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
Content available through the ESA website and programs may include materials owned by ESA as well as curriculum, case studies, educational materials, trademarks, and other intellectual property owned or licensed by third parties.
All such materials remain the property of their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Enrollment in an ESA program does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to participants.
Enrolled participants receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use program materials solely for their own educational purposes.
Unless expressly authorized in writing, participants may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly display, record, or create derivative works from program materials or use them to provide commercial education or training.
8. Educational Purpose and No Guarantee of Results
ESA provides educational programming designed to develop entrepreneurial thinking, decision-making, leadership, and related business skills.
Participation in an ESA program does not guarantee any particular business, financial, investment, employment, career, or professional outcome. Entrepreneurship and business involve risk, and individual results depend on many factors outside ESA’s control, including individual decisions, execution, experience, resources, and market conditions.
Program discussions may address topics including business strategy, finance, investing, valuation, capital, operations, hiring, leadership, and other business matters. These discussions are provided for educational purposes only.
Nothing provided by ESA or its faculty, instructors, speakers, employees, or representatives constitutes individualized legal, tax, accounting, financial, or investment advice. Participants should consult appropriately qualified professionals regarding decisions specific to their circumstances.
9. Educational Status and Certificate of Completion
ESA is an educational program and is not an accredited college, university, or degree-granting institution.
Participants who satisfy applicable program requirements may receive a Certificate of Completion for the applicable course or program. A Certificate of Completion is not an academic degree, professional license, or accredited educational credential.
ESA may expand its educational offerings or curriculum over time. Any future programs, courses, certificates, or other offerings will be subject to the terms and requirements applicable to those offerings at that time.
10. Third-Party Curriculum, Faculty, and Affiliations
ESA may use, reference, or teach curriculum, case studies, methodologies, or educational materials developed by third parties. ESA may also feature faculty, instructors, or speakers who are or have been affiliated with other educational institutions, businesses, investment firms, or organizations.
References to a faculty member’s current or former affiliation are provided for informational purposes and do not necessarily imply sponsorship or endorsement of ESA by that organization.
Third-party names, trademarks, curriculum, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners and are used only as authorized or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
11. Photography and Recording
ESA may photograph or record certain classes, events, or program activities for educational, archival, or promotional purposes where appropriate. When additional consent or a separate release is required, ESA will request it from participants.
Participants may not record classes, case discussions, faculty presentations, or other program activities without prior authorization from ESA.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website and services may use or link to third-party tools and platforms, including application forms, scheduling tools, payment processors, video platforms, and social media services.
ESA is not responsible for the content, products, services, security, availability, or privacy practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Website and Service Disclaimers
Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the website or services, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that our website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that all website content will always be complete, current, or error-free.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ESA and its owners, directors, faculty, instructors, speakers, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or anticipated savings arising out of or relating to your use of our website, programs, events, materials, or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ESA’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or a program or service will not exceed the amount you actually paid to ESA for the program or service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ESA and its owners, directors, faculty, instructors, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your material violation of these Terms, misuse of ESA’s website or program materials, violation of applicable law, or infringement of the rights of a third party.
16. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or ESA’s services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our programs, practices, services, or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and post the updated Terms on our website.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. Your continued use of the website or services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable enrollment agreement, program-specific terms, releases, or other agreements between you and ESA, constitute the agreement governing your use of our website and participation in our services.
